Our Management
Mainbrace is led by a hands-on management team with extensive experience in all aspects of the building industry.
Our three executive directors have each worked at Mainbrace for more than 13 years and our two non-executive directors founded the company almost 20 years ago.
This stability traverses the company.
We have 10 business units, each headed by a long serving senior manager with specialist expertise in their domain. In addition, all managers are shareholders in the company.
Advisory Board
As a private company, Mainbrace recognises the importance of corporate governance in ensuring the company's business affairs are well managed.
Stringent management reporting processes are applied to all operations. An important part of this reporting process is the role of the Advisory Board, which oversees all aspects of the company's operations and strategic direction.
The Advisory Board comprises four non-executive members - all highly respected within their specific specialist sectors - and four executive members.
Greg Scott
Managing Director
During his 30+ years in the construction industry, Greg has worked on projects ranging from $3 million to $120 million. Greg joined Mainbrace in 1995 as a Senior Project Manager and was quickly promoted to Construction Manager, Operations Manager and then Managing Director in 2001.
As the senior member of the management team, Greg’s experience and wisdom have underpinned the company’s stability and consistency. Greg is actively involved in business development and new project procurement. His wide ranging local and international knowledge and experience has helped Greg steer Mainbrace on a very successful course.
Michael Witts
Director
Michael has over 23 years experience in the construction industry. He joined Mainbrace 1992 as a Leading Hand Carpenter. Today he uses his all-round knowledge of the construction process to lead our project teams to successfully manage even the most challenging jobs. Michael’s direct management style, coaching capabilities and empathy for our teams in the field ensures a balanced approach to construction management.
Rob Doust
Director
Rob joined Mainbrace fresh out of University in 1993. After more than 15 years learning the business from the ground up, he now focuses on strategy and continuous improvement. Rob has led major initiatives in building the infrastructure of our business, including our information technology, OH&S systems, business intelligence framework and strategic planning tools.
