On October 10, Graham Davis, 63 will head to Hawaii and line up on the start line for the Ironman World Championships. 18 months ago Graham was lying low, battling bowel cancer.
The Hawaiian Ironman is one of the most gruelling races on the planet. Qualifications are held all over the world for a coveted spot in this annual race – which is a 3.8km swim, a 180km bike ride and 42km marathon run.
His plan is simple; to start, make the cut off times and then finish.
He really is an inspiration and demonstrates to everyone the IRONMAN mantra that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. Graham, everyone at Mainbrace is behind you! Go get ‘em!
